I'm taking an elderly relative to the game tomorrow night - wheres the best 'close by' place to park? I normally park at Heron Cross but its too far for him to walk. I know the club car parks are usually full / a nightmare to get off. Is this likely to be the case tomorrow or can anyone recommend anywhere else? Thanks Pedro

Pretty sure that you can park on the power league on cup nights because the season ticket on there is only for league games?

I normaly park at Heron Cross too but I'm taking my kids tomorow so will likely just park at the Ground and join the queues after.... Would imagine it won't be quite as bad as league games

I have parked on the South car park since we moved to the new ground. With the exception of this season due to the time taken to get off the car park, the frayed tempers, and the lack of support from the Council and Police to help.
However, this season appears to be different. Stewards stop traffic going towards the ground at the lights on SMW, and the flow off the car parks appears to be better - certainly much shorter queues. Also, given that the attendance will be lower I'd be inclined to take a chance on South car park, or if you can handle a slightly longer walk, Trent.

South and Trent are both on Stanley Matthews Way, between the lights and the Audi garage, Trent being the furthest away. Is the North car park behind the ground? Sorry, don't know about that one, but if it is at the back of the Boothen, traffic is stopped at full time until the bulk of the crowd has gone - possibly 20 mins?
