Many question whether Pulis' approach will allow us to take the next step. You've questioned that since about 2004 to be fair, and he's made you look a proper twat at every turn. ;D

The most encouraging thing for me was that for the 1st time since we've been in the Prem.we were better than an established Prem. side away from home, that is progress and it was frustrating we did not take the three points,but I feel we're definitely getting there.

Last season, most people on here (inc me) accused TP of being negative, with his sit back tactics. It was inarguable. Equally so the new more attacking play.
If we weren't going forward, how come we managed to win corners? The problem is what we did with them!
As has already been said by beale, the real sadness is that we've already played potentially the worst two home teams and not defeated them. It shoudn't cost us our PL place - we are too good for that - but it will cost us in terms of merit payments and, worse, the chance to take a few more risks, in sizing up others in the squad, in the weeks ahead.
