What's happened with pulis and higgy .. ive never seen him do anything wrong in an game ??? Then this collins guy signs and look below average .. was higgy on the bench today ??? I know higgys distibution is hardly world class but are we really in the need for a LB with super passing ? Higgy for LB

I think Higgy's performance today on the bench has confirmed his place at left back for the rest of the season.

Well there is no doubt Higgy is a better player but the manager obviously feels there is an option or a reason why Collins plays. Not sure why myself but Pulis is the man in the hot seat!

Collins is better on the ball but nowhere near as good a defender, was turned too many times and lost too many headers today...

Hope not Higginbotham rarely ever puts a foot wrong. Not going to get on Collins' back so early but IMO he should have had to wait for his chance rather than just have Higgy's place, which is down to Pulis and in my opinion unjustified and unfair.

Higginbotham has had a slow start to the season, and Pulis brings in a player that he feels is a better left-back. For the record, I feel Collins has performed well, aside from today's mistake.
It is as simple as that.

Thought Collins had a good game today except for that stupid tackle at the ned. Anyway if we compare what we did there last year to today's performance it's easy to see we've improved. We've only lost to Lpool and Chelsea for fuck's sake!

TBH I haven't been convinced by Higgy this season. He just boots it long whenever he gets the ball and he has lost us possession a few times. I suspect Pulis is looking for something a bit more sophisticated as we 'push on'. Mind you, whether Collins provides that or not is another matter.

He's trying to accomodate Collins imo. I prefer Higgi but he did have a good game today, he just looks too slow to me.

Yes definately.
from what i heared during training Danny was heared to say that he didn't like Welsh Rarebit ( even though it's only cheese on toast with worcester sauce) Tony took offence (him being Welsh an all) and called him a tart, Danny called Tone a prat and they fell out big style, suffice to say Danny wil NEVER EVER EVER play for Stoke again because "Pulis fell out with Danny"
