Well, here is my obscure point of the day. How good is it to have a player of Paul Gallagher's quality on the bench?
Having endured Parkin and (for part of the season) Jailbird Pericard on the bench, there is been very little option for the game to be changed in the final third of the pitch.
Now we have the luxury of bringing on a matchwinning/changing player like Gallagher. He can either take the place of Fuller or shift out on to the left wing. He really could prove to be a crucial signing for us in the latter stages of the campaign
Sadly, the signing of Diao (so far) hasn't quite lived up to what we hoped. It is a six and two three's (as my dad would say) situation. We need him fit, but he is hindering our current performances. It is a shame there aren't more reserve games, although they don't quite build a player's fitness up to the required standard.
Anyway, stop my moaning now. We are top. Yes, top.
Whoever plays on Saturday, we will win and continue our Premiership push!

When Fuller gets suspended (there is no way he won't pick up another yellow before the end of the season) then Gallagher is the perfect replacement for those two games.

If we played the ball to Parkin's feet more then we might see what he is capable of instead of twatting high balls and utilising him in a similar way to Sidibe.
Unfortunately our players seem unable to differentiate between the two players. I personally will wait until the service is to an acceptable standard before writing the Beast off.....

The Beast could be a good player; he has seriously let himself down, Tony Pulis and the club for his poor effort in losing weight and becoming the good player that Pulis expected to make him! He still has that good vision and can strike a ball pretty cleanly, but he just doesn't have the mobility either through pace, jumping, agility, stamina. I've written him off, if he does what Pulis expects of him then it will be a pleasent suprise.

pulis must have seen somthing in him when he signed him. he just aint gonna get the chance to show us what he can do with the system we play because he can't play the sidibe role and he's not got a cat in hells chance of starting ahead of fuller.

i think Pulis should pick a game very carefully, in which Fuller could get booked and then serve his suspension. Gallagher would be the best option of replacement

There aint even an ounce of fat on Parkin ffs, so how you can say that it's a poor effort in trying to lose weight really is a joke.

I personally will wait until the service is to an acceptable standard before writing the Beast off..... The only service Parkin is interested in is Room Service...
