On BBC match preview Ryan is listed as doubtful with GrowingPains/tendonitus.
This ties in with The Sentinel story this week.
Are they thinking of resting him this week, and trying a bit of rotation in the back 4?
Team could be:
Soro
Wilko Faye Huth Collins
Lawrence Whitehead/Delap Whelan Ethers/Tuncay
Kitson Fuller/Tuncay
With our better squad, think subs will be used, so would expect all these players to play some part.

Shawcross has said on an interview today that he can't wait to play tomorrow.
Is Abdy left-footed? Seem to recall that he is from somewhere?

Love Ryan..... however, given our MASSES of cover now in DF I aint overly concerned. Better to play a fully fit Huth with Abdoulaye than Ryan if he might struggle.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tone does rest Ryan now and again with his growing pains, given we have an outstanding replacement in Huth. \
Seems silly to play him through the pain, even if the lad wants to. Rest will help the tendonitis (which I had after my ACL replacement, which used my patella tendon) settle down. It's no good his not being able to train fully, like the Sentinel report mentioned. He needs a spell on the sidelines - which we can afford to do now.

Is this the same BBC that said Abdy was injured and not playing against Chelsea and that Ryan was injured and not playing against Sunderland?
