Anyone seen them play yet for Hull. I know they both played against Sunderland but heard nothing about them?

If you emphasise the word "play", well, you could be in for a very long wait.

The worrying thing about Sonko is that he's only on loan!!! Well if Hull do have financial difficulties, I predict this could be one of the few loans that go bad and the creditor doesn't go chasing after the goods!

Anyone seen them play yet for Hull. I know they both played against Sunderland but heard nothing about them? I have. Sonko was ridiculed on here for Saturday, but the main culprit was Zayette. He had a solid 1st half, but not great in the 2nd. He was taking long throws too As for Olifinjana, he's clearly got talent, but he's not the most aware, but its early days, we'll see

"but we've got a player with an even longer throw. "But it's something we don't use – we don't feel as though that is our style" He is an uber wanker beyond all proportions. I would love it if Hull went down, I do like the posters on here like Sutton but to see him go down would be worth losing Sutton I think. I don't know another manager in the whole world who would sing on the pitch with a microphone, I don't think that's been hammered enough to be honest, if Pulis did it I'd accept all abuse I'd get. Olly and Sonks aren't good enough for us, but went straight into their 11. Only one way they're heading. www.thisisstaffordshire.co.uk/news/Stoke-City-Positive-Brown-knows-expect/article-509141-detail/article.html

dint pulis sing on the pitch after we got promoted after they did the tour of the city? Not to my knowledge, but even if he did, it's comprehensively different to the circumstances of Brown doing it.

As once said of Jean-Alain Boumsong:
Sonko is not so much a defender, more an extra attacker for the opposition.

I think Olofinjana could be ok for Hull he had one or two decent games for us though I couldn't see him making many (if any) starts for us this season.
But Sonko! Soooooo glad to see him go! He was ok in a couple of backs to the wall defensive displays but as soon as he was isolated his slowness and lack of ability to turn came shining through! The game he had at Blackburn was horrendous

Lets face it Sonks and Olly were pretty much poor buys by TP...Olly tunrned out as predicted by Wolves fans and similarly so did Sonks...often steady but prone to rash tackles! In fairness it was indeed Zayette whose mistake lead to a goal at the weekend....Hansen was stunned at the poor defending and the lack of commitment to run back and tackle the guy....Sonks and Zayette would worry me as a defensive pairing. As for Brown he continues to grate because he is prone to mindless comments...his 'we wont use the long throw its not our style will come back to smack him in the face....yes 1-0 down in injury time and Hull win a throw near the corner flag.....ffs most managers would tell Sonks to launch it...complete tosspot is Brown.

That's odd, it seems Tango is going against his own morals. "but we've got a player with an even longer throw. "But it's something we don't use – we don't feel as though that is our style" He seems to have changed tack as time has gone. Whilst I never bought the almost total football line Brown was trying to spin, at the start of last season, Hull were playing with three forwards and were going forward in numbers. Now the emphasis seems to be on keeping it tight and attempting to nick the odd goal. In reality, they are probably playing with a fear they didn't have initially. But, unless you've got very, very good defenders it won't work very often in the top-flight (as we saw away from home last year).
