SH*T, we have just lost Taggers at the wrong time. Just been on the official site and there is no indication of a new replacement sighning ( Mr Keown?) How the hell are we going to sign him or any other Prem player with minutes remaining. Are defence is crap and i dought that Hill and Williams are going to do much about it.

The deadline is for Premiership clubs though... not us...
Football League Head of Communications, John Nagle, says: “Once again, the Football League will not be implementing the transfer window system on a domestic basis.
"Consequently, Football League clubs will be free to operate under the same ‘open’ system as used last season.
“Clubs will be able to trade freely with each other and with clubs from leagues below The Football League until the transfer deadline on March 25.
"They will also be able to make loan signings from the clubs of the FA Premier League and may subsequently make such moves permanent at any time.

Nothing to stop us signing any Prem player on loan. The window doesn't affect loans from Prem Clubs.

Millwall is an extremely hard place to go. Without taggers we might not have a chance. Sorry for being pessimistic, but even though i'm going i dont rate our chances! Personally i feel our best chance will be to play 5-4-1, and hope to nick a goal on the counter But some older stokies might disagree with that sort of tactic??

We can’t deny what an influence he’s been and I think it’s no coincidence we’ve played so well since he’s been here. Thanks Gerry and all the best, it would be nice to see you in a Stoke shirt again. For now it’s time to move on though.

You would expect Clint Hill to have recovered by Saturday and with Williams's revival, we shouldn't be much worse off. Yes, Taggart has been excellent. Yes, it is no coincidence that his presence aided our run in a major way. Yes, his influence went deeper than the playing side. But............let's not take anything away from the rest of the squad who have all improved of late. Even my fave Darel Russell!!!
We may or may not lose against Millwall but it won't necessarily be because Gerry is missing. We've won 7 out of the last 8 in the league and have a great away record in that time. All runs come to an end. It may be this Saturday. It may be the game after that.
Life now goes on and if the players can't take the best of what Gerry brought to us and use it then his time with us has been wasted.
Time now for Clint Hill to stand up and be counted (perhaps him and Williams have the guts and determination to pull us along) and for the team spirit that seems to have grown lately to take us onwards and upwards.

Do You Remember 0-2? Your dead right fella,Millwall will be one of our harder away fixtures of late but we mustn't go and play 5-4-1 and hope to nick a goal.To me that is waste of all the hard work in the last few weeks,we've got to attack like we have been and take the game to them, lets keep the momentum going.
P.S. I don't think sitting back is our style anymore.......its just like watching Brazil.Time to get my feet back on the ground methinks ;D

Is Marcus Hall available for Millwall? If not, why not use Brian Wilson at RB and switch Halls (if fit) into the centre back position to partner either Hill or Williams? I wouldn't have Hill and Williams together as the lack of pace / match fitness would be a worry.

Yes Biggus, Marcus is back on Saturday, and so is Thommo.

Thommo plus one from Hill or Williams then? As Willo played the full 90 on Saturday and Hill lacks match fitness and is recovering from a bug, I reckon the Dark Destroyers will be our centre back pairing.
Can't see Pulis going 3-5-2 as we don't have the midfield personnel to play it but nothing would surprise me about TP. He still makes some interesting tactical decisions doesn't he?
An away win at a ground where we rarely do well would be astounding!

Even a point would be good, to keep the unbeaten run going, even if we don't break the 'consecutive away wins' record.
