Although any game in this division has the potential to bite you on the arse, this chunk of 6 games looks like much the harder portion of our remaining fixtures, even with the irresistible momentum we seem to have found.
4 away games - all tough - with 2-3 of them as tough as they come - and the 2 home games both against very dangerous, in-form teams.
What do you think would be a good haul if we want to stay in the hunt for auto?
IPSWICH pne qpr BURNLEY norwich watford

ideally win both home games. need to be looking to win at pne and norwich. take a point from qpr and watford. anything between 11 - 15 will keep us in the automatic shake up.

Norwich will be really tough as well.
They haven't lost at home since before we lost to Sheff Utd.
I suppose we've got to look to win at least 2 of those away games - but it will be a real test.

12 or above. At this stage we are there to be shot at but the mentality must be to play like league leaders, fear no one and use that team spirit that has seen us through so far. I cant see Tone losing it at this stage

i would think 11 points would be realistic, and it would be a good return.

Pretty much agree with 11 points being reasonable. I would be happy enough with that. Anything more would be fantastic. Ideally, we would beat Ipswich and get a point away at Watford, we don't want to be giving them 3 points at our expense. A classic Pulis defensive away day at Vicarage Road would do me just fine.
We do seem to be hitting the lower placed teams just as they are hitting a bit of form. But saying that, we are top of the league on merit and because we have a great team. We should fear no one and are more than capable of winning any game, home or away.
Go on Stoke!

We are top of the table with 1.5 points on average away and 2 points at home so 10 points would be acceptable.

Anything less than 10 ponts will be disappointing at this stage of the season. We really should be going for 2 points per game till end of season to ensure promo

If we want to go up auto we need to be taking points off everyone and dropping none. Ipswich and Watford are the games that decide whther it's your year, or whether it's the playoffs ...

We could afford to lose 1 and draw the other. It depends who we lose to. If we lose to Watford for example, they take points from us. If we lose to any other, then watford/brizzle/brazil may also drop points, therefore not much damage will be done. Out of the 18 points available, we must take at least 13 to remain on track. The toughest game to me will be QPR or maybe Burnley at home, who with Cole, are flying at the moment. It would be interesting to see who watford, brizzle, brazil & charlton have also got in 6 game period.

havinglooked at the fixtures i would be happy with 9 points[obviosly i would like more, but with all the teams around us droping points left right and centre]we have done the hard part in getting where we are. we just need to have steady form between now and the end of the season and we will be there in premeirship heaven![cantbelieve i am writing this]believe in the dream. top marks to peter coatsand tony pulis for making this a possibility

12-15pts
Might stuggle at QPR and Watford but would be happy with draws at both.
Home games are a MUST win.
PNE and Norwich are at the wrong end so we need to win those as well.

I think 10 pts would be a reasonable return, especially as we could well play 2 of them with no Fuller.
Obviously every point over that would be great, but we're not going to steamroller our way to the title, are we?

If you want a points total, then 10 would be on course for automatic. 12 would be keep us top. The biggest game without a doubt is away Watord.....can't lose that one.
Suspensions may make it tough but the feel good factor in the newly extended squad looks good enough to make it happen.

They do look tough. So the hope is that we can stay in our current position over the coming weeks. Watford PRESTON h Burnley a NORWICH h BARNSLEY h Bristol City a STOKE h Brazil HULL h PLYMOUTH h Sheff Wed a Wolves a C PALACE h LEICESTER h Bristol City Colchester a HULL h Charlton a Leicester a WATFORD h PLYMOUTH h Conclusion? Fook knows in this league. Four teams on 70pts with 7 games remaining?

The danger is that both Watford and Brazil both have four home games in the next 6, we have 4 away games. Going to be very tough, hopefully we can stay in touch.

I would also predict at least one of the top four will crack during this period. As a guess I would say Brizzle. Lets see what happens, one game at a time and all that
