Just having a quick browse see if i could see owt about Shawcross. Anyways few decent comments on us, and our fans, i thought it would be a load of bullshit, but they seem fairly in the know about us, which is good, few knob heads though like all forums. www.redcafe.net/f7/stoke-265918/

Fair play, i like the comments on there, apart from the first guy who says i was born in Stoke and probably would have supported them if it wasn't for my dad making me a Man U fan

You find in a lot of these cases its the fault of the parents

Couldnt give a toss what some inadiqate monobrowed gloryhunters who have never seen 'their' team play think about us.
Id rather be a team of thugs than a team and club full of cunts!

Twigginater is a prize one cock. Born in Stoke, dad made him support manure. Son, you are a GLORYHUNTER
"They have spent around 50 million so far:
Seyi Olofinjana £3m (recouped) Dave Kitson £5.5m Danny Higginbotham £2m Abdoulaye Faye £2.25m Tom Soares £2.5m Michael Tonge £2m Ibrahima Sonko £2m Amdy Faye £1m Dean Whitehead £3m James Beattie £3.5m Matty Etherington £3m Tuncay Sanli £5m Robert Huth £6m Diego Arismendi £2.6m Danny Collins £2.75m"
Apart from 2.5m for Soares (is that right?) it comes out at 46m not 50m, reduced to 43m with the Olifanjana sale. Maybe his dad was crap at maths as well

I love how they call us thugs when played them at our place yet they should have had 2 clear sendings off, Ronaldo's kick out and then Rooney's elbow, shame in football the big boys actions seemingly go unnoticed.

It's funny how they say that we were a team of thugs in the matches against them, when they should have been down to 9 men in the game at the Brit by the time Wilko was sent off! EDIT: Just beaten to it! Always happens!

See the wanker who states 'I was born in Stoke' A bit harsh fella If I had to move to Manchester because of work and had a son born there, I'd do my everything I could to make sure he was a Stoke fan rather that Utd/City. Maybe his Dad has done the right thing? or Maybe his Dad is a glory hunting shitbag!! ;D ;D

Nah my Dad was born in Manchester. I had a season ticket there for five years as well till the Glazers took over, I'm not your typical OOT United fan.

You ascertain your club by looking at where you were born - finding the nearest league club - and thats it - for life - no ifs, buts or maybes. If its the shit then so be it, if its the Potters then so be it, if its Hereford then so be it. I should add that this view often offends - it is, of course my own opinion, and can be regarded, if you wish, as nonesense.

As I said, you've not taken account of 3m recouped from Oli so the figure is actually £43.1m. That £6.9 million less than £50m. Might seem harsh but its just bad maths

'...abnormal throw ins from a hairy troll'
I say, steady on, I know they find it easy to mock the looks of other teams players, as they really do have some hot lookers in their team like Rooney, Rio "duck beak" Ferdinand, Gary Neville and sexy Scholes
Now our Rory may have large ears, but he ain't no troll doll :-)

Thing is from before I can even remember, my Dad would take me to United games. I had a season ticket since I was around 11, and was going for years before that, I started going regually in the season after Cantonas departure. I plan on going to Manchester for university, but no matter where I end up living, my son is going to be a United fan. He has no choice in the matter.

I like the comment aout cheering a player getting sent off. I seem to remember Ole Gunnar Solskjaer getting a huge standing ovation for rugby tackling a Newcastle player who was clean through in about 1997/98. Most cynical tackle I've ever seen.
