I think that Stoke could finish inside the top 10.
I think that Spurs will challenge for the title.
I think that Port Vale will get promoted next season.
I think that Portsmouth and Hull will be relegated.
I think Tuncay will love it at Stoke and have a fantastic season.
I hope that Peter Coates considers filling in the Corners of the ground at the earliest opportunity.
I think that Shawcross will get his first England call up at full International level within 18 months.
I think that Tony Pulis will be named Premiership Manager of the Year.

12th place with 45pts would do me. This league is all about accumulation, longer and higher we stay the more money we generate, giving us opportunity to bring better players in ala summer 08 compared to this summer. We have bought a far better quality of player this time around, we've been able to do that through finishing 12th, extra TV revenue, full houses at The Brit etc. With the same again this years £5m buys could be next years £8 - 10m buys.

Whilst I would be happy to see us stay in the league, the signings we have made (Huth, Tuncay and Arismendi in particular) show real promise. I would be surprised if Tuncay stuck around should we finish 17th. I would love to us get somewhere near what we did last season and, on Saturday's performance, I don't see why not.

Maintain the home form and we'll head for a similar finish to last season.
Adopt a better/more positive approach away from home and we can be making strides into the top half of table.
However, 17th, and i'll be a happy stokie too! ;D

Same home form as last season, at least 4 away wins. improve on last years points total.

Staying up with less nail biting will do for another season, then we can start to really build. We'll be a better prospect for better players, and we'll have the money to go after them. Last season ended with us in extasy, and for most of us, that will suffice again. Get better eventually, of course, but let's not be chasing around naming other for relegation. Quite honestly, I don't care who else goes down, let their own fans worry about that, I'm really only interested in Stoke City.

If we don't finish top 10 Tone should do the decent thing.

We should certainly be aiming for a top half finish and I think if we can adopt a more positive formation and tactics in away games something like 8th to 10th is not beyond us - although, as everyone else says, survival is again the priority.
If we are comfortably mid table by Christmas I think we could attarct a couple of quality players in January to help us push on.

I would regard 12th-15th as a succesful second season. We've spent well and improved the quality of the matchday squad. With a bit more adventure away from home I think we can compensate for a likely lower return at home.
Bolton is a biggie what with Chelsea and Man Utd visiting this month. The result against Megson's lot will be a good indicator of where we are in the scheme of things...

We need to attack Bolton. And not be over respectful to Chelsea and the shit. And remember we have nothing to be all awestruck aboiut. We are in this league because we deserve to be. No stargazing.
