Superb result last night feeling dead proud this morning ;D But and theres always a but with stoke .The bloody parking tickets there were loads of them dished out last night absolutley makes my blood boil.the underhanded sly way they do it is lowloife to say the least. If it is a safety issue why do they let people park there in the first place. Some sort of petition to the counci, bombarding the sentinel with e-mails,phone up radio Stoke and ask them to explain why they dont give a little slack and guide people to where they can park .But most of all contact Stoke City they hace the biggest pulling power of all and SHOULD be doing something to protect and help out its supporters.Because in the long run it is the club who will suffer .Rant over

I agree they are just hittin the easy targets but why dont people pay the fiver and park on official car parks. There were loads of spaces on the trent (overflow) carpark last night.

Its a joke! If you arrive late, or are an away fan with no idea where to park you are screwed!
Petition would be good, not much the club can do but if everyone bombards the council with compalints they might listen.

sandford - exactly.
If you park illegally then you can hardly complain if you get done for it. I wouldn't bother phoning in P&G again or writing to the Sentinel because people will laugh at you even more.
What is wrong with the South Car Park, Trent Car Park, North Car Park, Power League, Harvester, Greens etc??? OK, it takes longer to get off, but it may help if loons didn't park on slip roads/flyovers etc.

What is the problem with parking a bit further away, where it is legal to do so, and having an extra 5 minutes walk?

You parked illegally Got done & now moan about it, it's because of all the illegal parkers & dropping off that it takes so long to park & get off after the match, but I do agree the police & stewards should be more proactive in this area & not allow it to take place in the first place

Also there should be no turn right into the south and trent car parks. People should have to go down to the bottom of Stanley Matthews Way and turn around at the roundabout. Also at full time, it should be left turn only out of the car parks. It just jams everything up with the setup at the moment.

Solution - get there a bit earlier. If this isn't possible, there are plenty of avenues and in the suburbs close to the Brit. Or you could park illegally and then blame everyone but yourself when you get a ticket.

We got to the game last night just in the nick of time!! We normally park over at Heron Cross and walk over but we still had the choice to use the official parking so we did. As we pulled off the dual carriageway we saw one guy seemingly abandon his car on the grass verge and run off towards the stadium? Seemed a bit of a dodgy decision to park there and lucky in my eyes to come away with just a ticket and not get towed away. Still I have every sympathy with anyone who did get a ticket from those blood sucking traffic wardens
