Im sure im saying what every1 else is thinking...but do you not think we, like most prem clubs, have a really good chance to win this competition.
Winning the league cup at wembly would just be the best day ever...just watchin the old 72' dvd giets the old hairs on the back of my neck standing up...
Blackpool can be beaten and then were into round 4. Just hope stoke really lower the prices...maybe £5 like we've done before and get 20,000 plus in there ... cum on stoke...really go for it this year !!!
P.s Tuncay to score the winner at wembly...overhead kick 94th min

We could win it, but I doubt it. When you compare our team at Orient and the Citeh team at Palace - we'd be stuffed if TP continues to play our "reserves".

i wasnt impressed with the side he put out at the orient. there were some very frustrated fans all arround me and rightfully so!. at the end of the day though we need to look at the bigger picture. staying in the premiership is more important than a cup

The further we go, the more first teamers will play
Also the fact were at home will make TP put out a stronger side
Expect something like this v Blackpool
Simo Griffin-Huth-Collins-Dicko Delap-Whitehead-Pugh-Tonge Kitson/Beattie-Cresswell

Not a chance. Pulis doesn't take it serious enough.

Did Tuncay play the other night??? Tuncay definitely isn't cup-tied so will be available for future rounds. I hope that we keep the faith with our fringe players for the Blackpool game, they should have enough in them to progress, and then alot depends on who we are drawn against in future rounds. The league always will be the priority though, although you could argue we have more strength in depth now, and hopefully a few more additions to go with it before Tuesday!

Let's start concerning ourselves with Cups when and if we become an established Premier League team.
Cup competitions are a distraction and only a good opportunity to allow the manager to view the fringe players against worthwhile opposition in a cmpetitive situation.
For now, forget it IMO!

Following on from my post last night the point of playing the reserve players is that its a competitive game that keeps them fitter physically and mentally than any reserve match could and so when they are called upon to cover injuries/suspensions/loss of form they aren't without a proper game of football for months
