Great news if true. We have been linked with so many players from foreign leagues in the last 2 seasons, hopefully we are finally widening the net and becoming a more attractive prospect for players coming into the country.

Described as a midfield sitter or centre half.Christ we have an abundance in these positions but still no orthodox left back. Makes no sense at all

I trust he is better than Cana was for Sunderland. How much did he cost. No movement, couldn't tackle or challenge, deliberately avoided heading the ball, shied out of all challenges, sloppy passing and about 3 stone overweight.

Could this be the first real foreign signing by TP? Interesting.

Was sat in block 11 and behind was beattie, mama, salif, retired laursen from villa, in the box next to them was a load of foreign looking people and one of the guys looked like the one in the teamtalk picture. He stuck out like sore thumb cause my missis spotted him standing there picking his nose on full view at the end of the match.

Increasing our scouting network is definately paying off!
I get the feeling we will quickly become an established premier league club as behind the scenes it seems that we're intelligently building something really good here!

this lad sounds the bollocks, sounds similar to a tom huddlestone type, can play centre half or midfield, breaks up play and can use the ball, if tp is willing by a south american then he must be bloody good

lets face it Pulis trusts Kemp and if Kemp has been out scouting south america and said to TP that this lad is just the sort of lad who you will like and can do a job for stoke then TP is going to get him in. He is young and would take time to settle in this country, but a 6ft 2/3 inc midfielder is exactly the type of player TP likes. Exciting times

We've been linked to 5 or 6 foreign based players but what will happen in the next 3 days is anyone's guess. Were looking to sign young players before they come on to everyone's radar. I was expecting to hear some developments on the left back today but I've heard nothing It doesn't mean the deal is dead though. If we can get creative players in 10th place is not beyond us.

I'm pretty sure that he was sitting right behind me, as we were told that box contained both Tuncay's (why?) and Arismendi's agents respectively.
Some people thought he was a Newcastle fan... Oops!
