Why is the flyspray today so useles now ?...it doesn't even slow the buggers down...I preferred the stuff that made your kitchen seem like you had declared death via chemical warfare on the irritating gits !! Any advice ? ;D ;D

I got some netting type material & hung it over the back door (phwoar) opening. It keeps the buggers out in the first place.

Get thee sen down Lidl's. They sell the netting things that hang from the door frame. The netting is split into 3 strips so its easy to get in and out and they have weights in the bottom to stop it blowing around like those cheap wilko plastic strip ones do.

Cigars - when in the home keep chewing a fat one ( ;D ) one constantly lit, exhaling smoke in all areas, this should put pay to all flying pests. I'd reccomend the Montechristo petit edmindo, a very pleasant petit tubos cigar - well constructed, heavy in smoke, all the benifits of a robusto with out the stigma - should reatail around £35 for three.
Hope this helps!
