thought we dominated a poor game, and one we should have easily won. brum were simply awful, they were their for the taking, admittadly before the game a point aint too bad a result but anyone who attended will have left their thinking its defo 2 points dropped, surely we have got to get more quality in, whelan was awful, as bad as ive seen him, and as for kitson fuck me forget it, get rid!! today was a opportunity to claim his place with beattie injured, the bloke is toss. we brought whitehead on which was pointless, imo 3m pissed up the wall, no better than olly

Our attitude was superb, we went at them from the off and never let up, The only time Brum got close was when sorro made his save.
Now the worrying bit, Whelan was very poor we've got to get in better. The Birmingham fullbacks were very very poor, Etherington should of gone past his man at ease every time. We've got to get some players in who can create opportunity's for our forwards. We've got to much reliance on long throws and corners. 3 games played, no goals scored from open play, no goals scored by our forwards.

For a game that we "bossed" it was disappointing to come away with just a point, but equally I have seen us lose in similar situations. We do need to add a little risk into our tactics on occasions and I'm sure we will get a bit more reward.

very frustrating day really, we miss a midfielder with the ability to put a defence splitting pass, we desperately lack pace. hopefully this will be addressed in the coming week. i echo the post saying 2 points definitely lost, reminded me a bit of wigan away last year.

I just hope its not one of those games we are looking back on if we get into trouble. It is definitely a case of 2 points dropped, but you can take positives from how they bounced back from a relative hammering at Liverpool.

Shit! Scrub that i didn't go

I'm not going to be told what to say about a game just because I didn't go! Anyway I saw the game on football first and thought on the whole we did OK. Could have won and we were the better team. A better point for us than them.

i thought we had enough of the ball to really do something with it- when we got forward we could never find the 'killer ball'. both kitson and fuller looked slow and sluggish. when we had our chances we didn't take them. there were plenty of times when we could have had shots with a clear sight at goal but we decided to pass and we'd be stuck.
defensively today we were quite good, not our best. i think one of the best performances was by wilko

I thought we completely dominated the game without really creating much. Birmingham had a decent 5 minute spell after bringing on the blonde lad in the second half (can't think of his name right now) but other than that they were shocking.
We looked strong at the back with Shawcross and Wilko having particularly good games, but we are just desperately lacking any kind of creativity in midfield. Delivery from set plays was poor, and Fuller's inability to look up and pass the ball after beating a man was driving me fucking insane, but hey, thats ric and thats what he does......it's never going to change.
I didn't go to the game obviously, but watched the full 90 minutes and I have to say our support was fucking immense yet again, sounded like a home game at times. As for this thread being for only fans that went to the game......your'e making yourself look a bit of a cunt mate, leave it out.

Birmingham were very poor today, especially as they was at home, they were there for the taking, and we just didn't take our chances. Kitson missed another very good opportunity today, and that number 14 for Birmingham was brilliant, MOTM by far.

I thought our entire midfield was woeful and offered very little in the way of support to the forwards. For all the chances and posession we had Joe Hart never made a save. Etherington had a terrible game. Looked unfit and uninterested at times. Im also starting to lose patience with Whelan. Midfield urgently needs strengthening. On a positive note I thought Kitson is starting to look alot sharper.
