expected them to get behind their team a bit more. even when they had a good spellin the 2nd half they were quiet

They were 2 nil down in the second half and never really looked dangerous throughout the game, so it was understandable. They were shouted down all the way through so it was always going to happen

I enjoyed the baiting though
'monging' their burnley - burnley chants
'handball' 'hand ball' etc etc etc
and the coaches heading for the M6 under the D road footbbridge past the incinerator - great fun - poking fun at them as they drove under - sick as parrots !

Fair play to them - at least they didn't start booing their own team like the Boro fans did on their first game of the season

I really expected them to be the loudest away fans of the season. They could well be quietest, well, 3rd quietest after Fulham and the Gooners.

Long quiet spells but when they did sing I thought they were loud, even if they were so mongy that it was impossible to decipher what they were actually singing.
