Now is a great time to merge with the Vale.
We’re strong. They’re weak. Much better to do it now.
Let’s see.
We should be fair in the merger. Take the best from both clubs.
The name? We’ll, let’s take half from us. Half from them. We’ll give the new united club “Stoke City”. The Vale: “Football Club”.
The colours? “ We’ll give Red. They’ll give white.
We’d need the best ground. Obviously the Brit.
The players? Name a Vale player near the Stoke first team. Well Pericard gets on the bench for us so they must have hope!
