We need a bit more pace up front! Personally I think I would keep Beattie,Fuller, Kitson & Sidibe.
Sell Cresswell & add
Nugent from Pompey & Lamine Diarra from Partizan.
The 2 above strikers are realistic players with our budget & both are quality.

I'd easily settle with another striker but we need to sell first. Cresswell should make way for a player of Premier League class, I won't slate the guy as I see enough Cresswell bashing on here.
Nugent would be a decent player but Crouch is on his way out of Pompey and that leaves them with Nugent and Kanu as their available strikers. Would Krisztian Nemeth be available on loan from Liverpool ?

to be fair, last year we had to play pericard and cresser. Give me as many strikers as we can get!!!

Except for Fuller and Beattie, we need to get rid of the rest of so called strikers at this football club.
Strikers in : Nikola Zigic, Lamine Diarra and if he has to a striker from England.
I was not happy with TP's summary of the Preston game, in my mind he is making excuses for a poor strikle force we have at this club with the exception of Beattie and Fuller when played together.
He said he was impressed with the way the side played considering we are a week behind on training,does that mean they cant remember what they were taught from last year or in terms of fittness.As i was lead to believe they were told to come back in good shape does this mean they have not listened to a word TPhas said if this is the case GET RID AND REPLACE as soon as.
They have come back from a break and what i have seen up to now they are playing half heartedley in that case they should be paid half the wage that they are on,i iknow it is only friendly's and they dont need to go busting their guts but most of them dont seem to care less.

Mama was SUPERB last season up until he got injuried, nobody can play that role like him. If he had more goals in his game we'd be fending clubs off to keep hold of him, his ball control, flick-on's and distribution is as good as any player at our club. |
