I've played the demo and it's immense Only gripe for me is that it's a bit hard getting used to making the punches you want by having to be pretty precise on the analog sticks (I'm using a PS3)

Also played the demo and would say if you were going to get anything out of fight night round 4, UFC, or the new tekken, get fight night.
Its a fucking brilliant fighting game.

Its a cracking game, but within a few days I'd managed to retire as the greatest of all time. Hardly a huge lifespan! But the Xbox live championship is awesome.

It is good, but yea I too completed the career mode too easily, got forced to retire at 45 years old still holding 3 titles. Created a boxer and proceeded to nail Tyson and Ali, got me a nice few achievements as well, just creating a smaller boxer now to take him into the heavyweight division and batter em all again.

I loved 3 and you get some really epic games with your mates but unless you get the technique nailed getting the boxer to do what you want is really hard.

Absolutely fantastic game and I would reccomend it even to people who don't like boxing! Fifa and Fight Night, what more could you want on a console?

Anyone who is still exclusively loyal to pro evo now has to be a fanboy whether they admit it or not is a different matter, they've failed to move on during the last few years, and are the equivalent of what fifa were about 8 years ago, rehashing the same stuff with new squads.
Loving fight night enormously though, the graphics engine looks promising for the upcoming fifa as well.

Has anyone seen any one punch knockouts on this??? Not knockdowns but knock outs?
I got ranked in the top 200 online, im 500 now, then fought the number 22 man, he blitzed me in three rounds. Had summit liek 600 fights, (im 31 wins, 7 losses, 27 kos)
Where they get the time to play that much crazy

I've got it online myself, I regret putting myself in the heavyweight division with a 5'11 72" reach boxer because coming up against people who are 6'8 with 80" reach is really putting me at a huge disadvantage in these fights.
However, a good few counter punches and they soon go down, although some guy hit me with a flash KO earlier, how do you define a 1 punch knockout, as in you go down and don't get given the 10 count?

Good game, technically outstanding, but for me it's just not quite as much fun as round 3
And for all it's physics and styles, it becomes obvious very quickly that you can just throw a strong uopercut 6 or 7 times in a row before the CPU will start blocking

Brad, you'll find theres a lot of setting in the options, you can adjust these to make it so the AI will adapt quicker and faster to these situations, how offensively aware the AI is, and how defensively aware, as well as the power of your own punches, toughness and other stats. These are all within each difficulty, it might be worth trying different combinations to make the game more of a challenge.

A great game, but if your playing your mates it is still the perso who bashes the stick the most that wins.

1 punch KO - guy throws a punch, other guy is knocked out, whether given a count or not.
Now they have done the update, it has gotten harder, someguy just totally trashed me in 2 rounds and kept constantly throwing punches, I couldnt do much else except send him a message after my loss and call him names. Im pretty tough like that.
When you get a flash knockdown early on in a fight, say then you get to round 10 and your the guy whog ot knocked down in round 1, if you go down again you can never get up because the game has a stupid 2 knockdown rule in it! It makes it impossible to get up twice! Very annoying.
