It's funny I could see them finishing above Man U next season when you look at the 2 squads. I guess it all depends on how they start.

Ronaldo and Tevez gone. Two huge players for them last term. Liverpool were very close. I'd say them two were worth 20 points plus a season to them.
City only took 1 point away from home more than us and need defenders desperately now. If John Terry comes in they look pretty tidy and may challenge Arsenal for 4th

Wonder where this leaves Bellamy ???

They won't gel and they don't have a strong enough spine. They're getting there, but they need a good defence.
The Shit will win the league again this year, without Tevez and Captain Androgynous.

Bellamy, Evans, Benjani, Caicedo all surely leaving if they get Adebayor and Robinho doesn't go anywhere.

CARLOS TEVEZ: My goals can capture title for Manchester City EXCLUSIVE By Lee Clayton Carlos Tevez signed for Manchester City last night in a £25million transfer and insisted he can help take them to the Barclays Premier League title. Tevez has won the championship in every country where he has played - Argentina, Brazil and England. After rejecting the chance to stay at Manchester United, the explosive little striker signed a five-year contract and then explained his reasons for teaming up with Mark Hughes. 'The manager and the owners are very ambitious and that became clear to me the first time we spoke,' he said. Shooting star: Tevez is convinced his goals can fire City to glory this season 'This is the chance to be involved from the start, an opportunity to help build a special experience.' More...JAMIE REDKNAPP: Why Terry - not Adebayor - is vital to Hughes' City mission It's sexy City: Tevez signs, now for JT and £25m Adebayor Done and dusted: Hughes can't wait to welcome £25m Carlos as Tevez signs five-year City deal Vincent Kompany to miss Man City's Premier League kick-off with foot injury MANCHESTER CITY FC NEWS FROM ACROSS THE WEB Tevez - three times the South American Footballer of the Year, surpassing Diego Maradona and Pele - spoke to Sportsmail as he prepared to return to the city where he won two titles with United. 'I hope to win many more trophies with City,' he said. 'There is a great feeling of excitement around the club. Look at the quality of the players who have been signed and the prospect of other top-quality players coming, too. Things are happening at this club. Hammer hit: Carlos Tevez almost singlehandedly kept West Ham in the Premier League in 2007 'The owners made it clear to me that they will be doing everything in their power to make this an extraordinary club to play for. I look forward to being part of that experience. 'Mark Hughes played in my position for some of the biggest clubs in the world and understands the demands and pressure of playing as a striker. I look forward to learning from him.' Tevez insisted the decision to join City is 'mine and mine alone'. He thanked his mentor Kia Joorabchian and added: 'This is a new adventure for me and I thank the people who have made this possible. 'My record of success speaks for itself. From helping West Ham to avoid relegation to helping Manchester United to two Champions League finals in two seasons. That's not a bad record!' Tevez also says his scoring record stands up to close scrutiny and added: 'When I get the chance to play, I am confident that it can lead to goals, for me and for my team-mates. I am a team player who can score goals. I know my responsibilities.' Chelsea were also keen on Tevez, with new manager Carlo Ancelotti bombarding the player with calls, but he said: 'I am thrilled to be a City player. I can't wait for the new season to begin.' Championing the cause: The Argentine ace helped United win back-to-back Premier league titles and the Champions League in 2008 against Chelsea Manager Mark Hughes told the club website, 'Carlos is a player of the highest class who possesses all the attributes that will help drive this club forward.' He added: 'He is not only outstanding technically but he is a reliable goalscorer and someone who will contribute fully to the team ethic. ..

Cannot wait till I bump into some shit fans and spout this one out to them, what is great as well is that Tevez actually said that he wouldn't move to Liverpool because of the rivalry. Well what is the rivalry between Man City and Man Utd then? ;D

As a United fan, I am mega pissed off, Tevez seemed to love the club when he was there.
But since he's left, he's been a mega twat "Offer me a contract and I'll sign". Alrite Carlos ya twat, we offered you one after Inter Milan and you fucked us off for the money.
"I don't want to sign for Liverpool because of the rivalry" So you sign for Man City? You don't want to sign for Liverpool because they can't pay you as much wages, you thick twat.
"My Goal can grab City the title" What fucking goals? You played around 30 games in the league last year and scored five, and missed so many chances. You're only good cuz you run around like a prick.
"If I score I'll shout at Fergie" and "I don't think the United fans will be mad at me" Are you thick Carlos? The best manager we've ever seen, v a very average striker in our squad. You'll be on the bench at city within five fucking games, I hope you never win another title again.

That 'I'll shout at the manager, everyone will love me' strikes me as being a bit like Craig Bellamy screaming at Graeme Souness when at Newcastle "I've won a league cup, what have you ever won?"
