Yeah its right and gives Tp the opportunity to give everybody in the squad a good run out. We've never had such a big squad before at this stage in pre-season (in fact we usually have about 15 players going into the castle game) so it makes perfect sense to get them all an easy run out to open the pre-season. I suppose its another small symbol of our progress.

it'd be nice to know what kind of squad will be where. I quite fancy Nantwich for a change but I suspect they will get the dregs of the first team and the young kiddies

How do you think they will work it,is it possible they may put players close to where they live or is this unthikable if they do work on that method: Shawcross,Fuller,Lawrence and BT's all live closer to Nantwich than Newcastle to name a few

They said its a straight split of the first team, so doesnt matter which one you choose really. Like hackett said, if its anything to do with where they live, they willl all be at nantwich, half of the team live at wychwood. lol.

Yeah Block is correct, Tone has said he's going to split the first team squad straight down the middle between the two matches, he just hasn't made his mind up yet about which game he's going to send Ashton to! ;D

I'm going to 'Castle so I hope there's a decent number of our best players there.
Then again, it's often good to get a close look at the younger and less well used players at friendlies. I hope Lund and Marshall get a run out.

Look at who played against castle last year there was no fuller, lawrence, delap, shawcross, cort. Pericard and parkin started up front Matteo played several kids played aswell
