We're fooked if there is a storm. Our road floods when there high levels of precipitation in a short period of time. However, the road surface today is temporary one so there are lots of loose pebbles. If it floods like it has done in the 3 weeks the bottom of the hill will have a nice collection of pebbles. The best thing is the road didn't even need resurfacing. The drains need making bigger but I guess it'll take a proper flood before the bastards sort that out!

My headache's certainly telling me we need a storm. I've noticed a lot of women get headaches around bedtime.. I suppose in my case it's a blessing really..

Sal : sounds like a pressure change headache, like when you are on a plane that is coming into land, i get these when flying, feels like someone is trying to bore through my skull from the inside behind my sinuses.
try sinus unblockers first, then gentle massage of the area.

The wind has picked up in Rough Close too. It looks pretty cloudy to the south too.
I've got no headache yet though which is a bonus.

My heads gone a little fuzzy. It's either the pressure change or 6 bottles of Magners I had after a cricket match

Wife was telling me they had one at Holmes Chapel, her work colleague's car was almost hit by lightning, it bounced on the road just beside her, but was still enough to blow the trim and bumpers off the car - scary or what Mumf, a plan for Ilda
