you would think that Chelsea would accept their Euro punishment with some grace or dignity. after all they virtually assaulted a referee. Despite a rather insipid punishment, namely a few early round Euro games for the main culprits and a fine that amounts to half a weeks wages for John Terry, they have to throw all their toys out of the pram again. their captain rather than using the opportunity to acknowledge to younger fans that their response to losing was unacceptable has to go on making a song and dance about how they were cheated. this is the same guy fined £60 for parking his bentley in the disabled car parking space while lunching at Pizza Express.

Nobody hates Chelsea more than me, but I can almost see their point a little bit on this. It says a lot about UEFA's priorities when Mijhailovic gets a two game ban and a slap on the wrist for racist comments and Chelsea get this ban for saying a few naughty words.

Maybe if they hadn't put in such an incompetent ref it wouldn't have come to thsi!
That guy made Rob Styles look good!
Although the question is was he told to be so crap???

I enjoy seeing Chelsea in second place or lower in ANY competition, just to drive home the point that all the money in the world can't buy you success.

Chelsea's inability to win the European Cup is a relief. It proves that a winning culture can't just be bought. It has to be built over a period of years.
And even if the ref did make mistakes their reaction was inexcusable. Ballack chasing the ref down the pitch was diabolical. If he'd shown the same enthusiasm in blocking Iniesta's shot....instead of inexcusably wimping out and cowering away....they wouldhave reached the final. I'll also add that if Stoke players behaved like that I'd be appropriately embarassed.
