He was a quality player and could of played at any of the top 6 teams.

I understand what you're saying but SWP broke/injured his leg, I could understand if it was striker, but SWP/Ashton don't play in the same position so why would SWP snap at him for being in the team?

Dunno what was going on. It was an England training session. I think it was the day before a friendly v Greece in 2006. McClarens first game in charge.
