Dave,
How much did you pay for flights?
I’m flying down (and back) in July for a stag do. Could do with an idea of cost.

Everywhere in Newquay is expensive its full of Stag/Hen parties. The place is only small so you fall out of one Bar and into another. Personally I prefer St Ives and Looe.

Sailor's arms is a good pub, plenty of totty, well there was in 1980 when I first went there. Went to Newquay a couple of years ago on a day trip from another part of Cornwall, I thought it was dirty and grotty then

WD Just got back, great weekend was had by all, over too quickly for my liking although i'm suffering now. Newquay's a lot smaller than i thought it would be. Flights were £62 return with bmi baby but you have to pay £5 to get out of Newquay airport. Stayed here, stag friendly, great staff and dead central to all the bars. Drinks prices just slightly above average in my opinion. well recommended.

just the general cost of living mate, food/clothes/entertainment mate. i desperately want a static and go for a few months, let me house out on a short term lease , hopefully pay for ground fees , but need to know how expensive things are. last time i was down was in 2001 , it wasnt too bad then , st ives was nice anall, lands end was ok but wasnt much there lol just need an average of what it would cost a week for eg to live comfortably. would be in peak season as well though mate, couldnt do it off peak or thatd mean missing stoke .. did you see any stokies down there mate, always a good hunting ground , dont think ive ever been without bumping into someone i know. ta for your help mate

hard to say really, especially as we had a kitty so didnt go to the bar much, the whole place didnt seem overly expensive though, bar the £92 for a round of drinks in a bar called Central.
