I thought Whelan just nicked it with his vision and was so comfortable on the ball

I'm inclined to think that people who haven't actually been to the game are the ones who've voted for Mamma. The men of the match without any shadow of a doubt were Lawrence, Whelan and Delap.

big mama played a big part today, kept is composure to set delap up for the first goal and was very unlucky with the 3rd goal, wolves just couldn't cope with him. but to be fair everybody was terrific

On the walk back to the car I was talking to some dingles who thought Mama was the difference today. They were amazed when I told them he hadnt scored all season. Good header against the bar ! He did a bit of defending today as well. Mama is the King

Mamma did play well but I just think there some better displays there.
All about opinions though isn't it! ;D

wasn't at the game today, so not really fair for me to vote. The fact that there are so many candidates for 'Man of the Match' can only be a good thing. Roll on Tuesday!

Super Liam Lawrence superb performance and what a goal. A class and deserves his shot at the Prem with us. Also Glen Whelan when he settles will be awsome too.

Just read the press reports and most of them have voted for Cort yet almost no-one here has plucked for him. Our real strength is that we have at least half a dozen decent contenders in most games at the moment :-)

i voted zakuani...cracking player! Definately deserves a mention, most of the first half he was forced to cover both left sided players and did so very well, even passed it a bit better!

I enjoy it when it is a tough choice for man of the match, there were a fair few very good performances but I think Liam Lawrence just beats big Mama for me
