Wonder if they'll sell all the remaining 1,500 and reach the magic 20,000 mark?

i doubt it now if theyve only sold a further 2.500 since they went back on sale given that probably most of them will have been sold in the first couple of days. they may offer the half season thing again round x-mas that will get us upto 20k

Even if we don't sell out the full 20,000 in the next ten days, wont the club just keeping selling the remaining few hundred until they're gone, albeit at a higher purchase price?
That way they honour the 'mid price' cut off date, but also get to cash in on having more money in the bank, when the announcements of some big name signings prompt those that are currently unsure, to finally commit into guaranteeing their seat for next season.

Yes, there will obviously be a "final" price which will be in force up a few games into the season when a point will be reached when it wouldn't make economic sense to buy them. I don't really understand why they can't keep them on sale after the season starts and simply knock off a discount to take account of home games played before the ticket is bought - ie reduce the price by 1/19th as each game passes.

Because that would make sense to do that, you know, it is a phesable method of selling the tickets. I think around 19,000 will be sold, and that gives chance for 5,600 to be sold each week. And i am sure we can do that.

A bit like an 'active' version of the half-season tickets?

Yes, no reason that I can see why my 1/19th discount per game already played shouldn't run right through to Christmas when the half season tickets go on sale.
