Just tried my first jalfreizi, usually go for madras, but it was absolutely delicious.
What's your favourite? Do you go for the same one each time? Take-away, restaurant, ready made or home done?
Discuss.

just have a microwavable chicken tikka massala from tesco, not much for really hot curries or food for that matter, no idea how much it but they are nice.

Yeah I'm a fan of tikka masala as well. I like my spicy food buty their are boundaries; when you get above the madras in spiciness (in my opinion) all you can taste is burning and none of the other ingredients. Well, that's true for me anyway.

Madras or Jal-frazi or however it is spelt. Anything hotter just destroys the flavour.

my usual is chicken tikka masala , always like it but also partial to rogan josh, bhuna, and jalfrezi , dont like anything too hot, have seen what it does to your work surfaces when youve got home pissed and get up the next day and tried to clean the fucking stuff up , wonder how much damage it does to your inside. madras is the hottest i'll go , but in some places it hotter than others, depending on what grade chilli pepper they use. how many times you gone out and said " im not having a curry tonight ", and after 10 pints "who fancies going for a curry"?
