Hellu!
My last prediction this season. The nice game between Arsenal and Stoke, the Gunners and the Potters. And the Londoners want to have a revenge!
Emirates Stadium Att: 48522
Ref: Knas Dunclasfirth from Jellingham Linesmen: Todd McTrick from Haylesbury and Geoff Morrison from Lianderwall 4th Official: Vic Xerxes-Nash from Pelopbury near Hicks
Arsenal Line up:
Almunia Touré-Gallas-Djorou-Sagna Diaby-Fabregas-Nasri-Walcott Adebayor-van Persie
Subs: Fabianski, Silvestre, Glichy, Song, Nevas, Vela, da Silva
Stoke Line up:
Sörensen Wilkinson-Shawcross-Faye-Higginbotham Lawrence-Delap-Whelan-Etherington Fuller-Beattie
Subs: Simonsen, Dickinson, Griffin, Pugh, Sonko, Olofinjana, Camara
The GAME: A nice game in nice weather. Stoke were lucky to get a goal after a Delap throw in in the 8th minute. Headed in by Shawcross for 0-1, who else?! Btw: One of my personal strongest candidates for a Player of the season reward. A center back scoring that many goals. He's talented... no doubt. Stoke suffered from a Arsenal free kick in tjhe 17th minute unfortunately and Whelan got the yellow card for a brutal tackle. Persie made it 1-1 then. But Stoke were more than equal to their opponents, so it came to noone's surprise when the electronic display said 1-2 in the 38th minute. Fuller got a splendid pass from Shawcross on the right side, turned Nasri inside out and made it 1-2, by a low shot. Tony Pulis and Arsene Wanger were both very pleased with the entertainment at half time.
Early in the second half Arsenal made some tactical changes; Djourou was substituted with Vela and their formation became 3-4-3 instead of 4-4-2. Persie and Fabregas were both close of scoring in the middle of the second half with their long distance shots, but it was Stoke who made the first goal in this half, on the break. A faboulus ball from Faye to Etherington, who crossed it in, just for Shawcross to get his second goal, his second header. This was in the 75th minute and the last 15 minutes of the game plus stoppage time (3 minutes added on), it was all Arsenal... And in the 88th minute it paid off, when Adebayor sprinted in the middle of our defence and powerfully shot 2-3. End of the game and both teams and managers were thanked by the audience for the greatest performance in the history of Premier League football!
Man of the match: Shawcross Rate: 6 (out of 5)
The STATS: Shots on/off target: 12/13-14/17 Off sides: 12-1 Corners: 22-8 Yellow cards: 2-1 Red cards: 0-0 Chequered cards: 0-1 Throw ins: 4-21 Free kicks: 10-10.5 Wore underwear: 0-1
Crowd stats: Had some chinese food for lunch: 1229-12 Farted unrhytmically during the game: 2-0 Having a barely living X-mas tree still at home, for next X-mas: 1-3
Most important stat:
Gunners 2 (1) - Stoke 3 (2)

Having a barely living X-mas tree still at home, for next X-mas: 1-3 Made me laugh out loud musik. A fine effort for your final prediction of the season, let's hope you're right with the score ah
