Heres another reason why the ID is bollox .
Everyone else gets allocated 3000 tickets down the side when allocated the Steve Bull lower tier.
Oh no not Stoke we are limited to 2200 ,just what is the point.

i agree, we weill neva take as many fans to away games like we used to before the id card scheme came into place. i remember when we won the league in 92/93 and took about 8000 fans to west brom. Now we can't even fill half their stand. but the id cards will never get scrapped and its something we just have to get used to

Having the ID in place should be a advantage in cases like this .
We have 3000 vetted supporters who would like to attend this fixture but some now cant.
Whilst any other teams supporters can.
WHY?

Totally agree with Kev's point, but what have the ID Cards got to do with that fact that we (and every other club) are given only half of West Brom's stand?
It's very unlikely that any club will ever take 8,000 fans to the Hawthorns again. That's just the way it is.

Footballas chnaged over the past 15 years.
Now it is more about fan safety so bigger segragation is needed, the likes of wolves V Stoke is pottential for trouble so they want to keep fans as far as way as possible from each other.
With regards to west brom. They have got a much bigger fan base than 15 years ago, so more of their stadium space is used for home fans

Well the following to Wolves on Saturday suggests that the away followings are starting to pick up as the team improves and the games become bigger and more important.
I think if we were at Brazil on Saturday we'd have pissed 2,500 tickets.

kevkj is spot on. The ID cards should "shout" to the other clubs and police that we need less control than others. It should allow us to "fill" the "away" end if we can sell the tickets. If there is a need for mesh over seats to segregate for safety sake then it should be in the home area as the cards say we have taken the trouble element out of the club. Respect is all that is needed. Yet still there are too many police forces who think that the card means we are bad - not that we are good.

Don't get this at all ??? there's not even any connected corners at Wolves so why can't we just have all the tickets and put some stewards and police in the corner ???

Moorlander the point is we have people with ID cards who want to attend . There are 600 empty seats ,vetted people who want to use those seats and are not being allowed.
I cant believe its a Wolves decision obviously a police one.
