Remember in the early 90s where football shirt fashion just went completely nuts? I think this period will probably be the era where most kits that could be described as "horrendous" will originate from, and my personal favourite is the Arsenal bruised banana special. our 92/93 purple TV interference-inspired effort was absolutely awful as well.

Can't be arsed to find photos, but do you remember when Hull really tried to look like Tigers (but instead just looked plain stupid - thanks for the photographic evidence ITPL), and Vale had a shirt that looked like it had tyre marks all over it? Heady days indeed.

Hahahhaahahahaha
I'd forgotten about Hull's "Marlene from Only Fools and Horses" shirt.
That makes our purple effort look great in comparison.

Not only did Hull have that first one, they decide to go for the tiger look again the next year! I pity their fans then! They wouldn't have even had a repreive at away games as nothing clashes with that!

Look closely and think about the German accent of the comment that went with it!

What terrible proof-reading on the sponsor logo - the middle letter should clearly be an "n".

I've never understood why people don't like this year's away kit, I quite like it.
Now, it isn't a tiger or static pattern like some of the others, but this year's flourscent Wigan top is horrible.
