Afternoon all
Just thought i'd pop by and congratulate you on a great season. We've been rivals all season with a good bit of banter flying both ways.
I have to respect the job done by Tony Pulis, thought he bought as many as possible in the summer hoping to land a decent one but he did great business come the January window, which is why we ultimately failed.
The loss of Marlon King & the injury to Bullard decided our fate.
I hope you have a good season next year as I always prefer to see the unfancied teams ruffle a few feathers.
I know the majority of you guys think Phil Brown is a c**k and in many respects you are right. However, this season has been a massive learning curve for him and I think he'll learn from his mistakes - already he seems to be becoming a bit more balanced (i.e. the congratulatory tones of his comments re: Pulis). His ego had been well and truly fed in the early season and finally he had learnt to reel his neck in - just need to do the same with the chairman now!
I'd love for us to join you in the Premier again next season but alas it doesn't look like happening - for those who like a conspiracy Bolton fans and some players are still loyal to Brown for the Allardyce years we could have a worse fixture this weekend...and last game Man Utd (hopefully tied up the league, champions league final days later & Mr Ferguson could repay Mr Shearer for snubbing him all those years ago). I will cling to this conspiracy as it is all us Hull fans have left.
Thank you and Good luck.

If you win at Bolton on Saturday I think you'll stay up.
Man Utd have got a proven record recently of not really trying too hard on the fay they're celebrating their title successes. And they also have a Champions League final three days later! It may still be in your own hands?
All rivalry issues aside, it's a better day out at Hull for us than Newcastle/Sunderland or Middlesbrough and it's not as far either.

Thanks for the kind words. Your tone suggests that you reckon you are already down and it is hard to see past that. However, you do have two 'favourable' fixtures. The Bolton fans hate Megson so an early goal will turn them against their own side while 'United' might have other things on their mind.
I didn't think you were too bad on Saturday- you just lacked the confidence in the final third. God knows why Geovanni was kept on the bench for so long.
Good luck.

I have been confident we'd stay up for weeks. Thought we'd get something against Wigan, Middlesboro or Sunderland away, Blackburn & Tottenham at home before that. I thought we could get something from our game against you. We have failed valiantly in the last couple of months that finally I have accepted our Championship fate...although if we now survive it will be an even better felling!

other than Brown, I have no problem with Hull, and would much prefer for you to stay up at the expense of Newcastle.

Geovanni has been brilliant or totally ananomous - he didn't put it in against Villa so can totally understand Browns selection, only wanting players up for it. Thought he should have come on earlier though.

It's a strange feeling coming to the end of the season and the dust pretty much settling. I have wanted you to fail all season as I thought you were one of the 3 we needed to finish below us - now the race is almost over I have nothing but respect for what you have achieved. If we do survive I might have to dislike you again ;D

I'm a football fan. I know the run-in by heart and think Sunderland might be our best chance. If i'd known how things were to turn out I think I would have taken the last month of the season off work, can't think of anything else!

I want to see Hull stay up. And you're right Phil Brown is a 'cook' and a very good one, it's a little known fact that he makes a great curry Seriously I think Hull fans are a good bunch and the ground is pretty decent. Good luck!

As much as i hate Man Utd, Fergie has always been respectful when it comes to fielding decent sides when playing against teams in the relegation battles.
Don't fancy your chances mate to be honest, cant see you scoring or subsequently winning,Sorry.

if Hull do stay up, and they have a good start next season, what price their manager, chairman, and fans making total pricks of themselves again by playing the big-i-am?

Fulham are in great form, even away - Played 5, won 2, drawn 2, lost 1 (Chelsea). They have a lot to play for and in Roy Hodgson a manager who has far too much know-how for Shearer. Just make sure you get something at Bolton. Best of luck.

All this Manure putting out a weak side is crap . . at least half of their 'weak' team could walk into our 1st team! I'd fear Fergie putting out his young 'weak' team more than the Euro final 1st team as they'll all be up to prove a point to try and swing a spot in the Euro final squad. Where as the 1st team will all be in the 'not get injured for the final' mode. I really don't see N'Castle getting any points out of Fulham or Aston Villa. But that said the games have become very unpredictable going to be an interesting couple of weeks to see how it pans out. Nice to be watching it all from afar though!

Don't give up, it's only goal difference right now!! But at least if Hull go down, I hope you use it as the opportunity to ditch Brown and bounce back with a less conceited manager at the helm.
I thoroughly enjoyed my first ever trip to Hull last weekend - nice ground in a nice setting and decent fans (at least the one's I spoke to). Fingers crossed that the Geordies great Messiah falls flat on his face.

cheers, your down yet, saturday will decide it though, and my only gripe with hull is brown and his sheer arogant swagger of how he thinks he so much better than anyone else, but as a club would love see hull stay up and give a club like newcastle a taste of what its like to actually need to work hard like us and you have to done to getn where we are

You never know - Newcastle think they've turned the corner - in reality they just beat the second worst team in the division at home. I'll be surprised if they get a draw against Fulham.

In all honesty i think that a point from your final 2 games will see you safe as i cant see Newcastle getting anything from their 2 games. Bolton have nothing to play for and are fairly shite anyway so an early goal could should see you getting at least a draw, easier said then done though im afraid.
I have been against Hull for large parts of the season because i think Tango is a prick but i really do hope you stay up this season at the expense of the toon so best of luck mate!

Phil Brown must make you cringe. He's always wanking his own ego off in front of the cameras. Personally I think he's the main reason why you are possibly going down.

I have no problem with Hull, yes like many my problem is with Phil Brown, personally I hope you do get out of it. I would much prefer Newcastle or Sunderland to hit the self destruct button. Newcastle do seem to think they have done enough, so there maybe a few twists and turns yet a win at Bolton maybe enough for you.
