I have to say, these new kits, bought out to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Burnley's league title success are absolutely superb. Very simple, very traditional and very nice! I actually hope they get promoted. Let me know if I need to wheel myself, but I hadn't noticed these on the site anywhere.

not sure about the away kit, but the home kit does look quite smart. seems that a few teams including england are going for the retro look this year.

Personally like them both.Much better than the away kit unveiled from us last week.Love retro shirts,i have not bought a new stoke top for 10 years or more. Can not beat the Ricoh home 77-83 top,'72 League cup top and 1950's home top.

Is it just me or does the away look very 80's west ham ish?
The home one is pretty smart though, nice and simple.

Probably a similar age to you Smudge - the home strip is smart in it's simplicity. (Although maybe it could be improved slightly with a diagonal stripe in dayglo orange and some poncy label on the back of the collar that makes it look like it's on inside out?!)

I like the fact errea agreed to leave their logo off the home one. Too many clubs are going for the retro look for me though, it's getting a little trite and dull.

For a Burnley kit, that's smart and fine. Good on them for sticking to their traditional kit, unlike us. I wanted either Preston or Burnley to go up this year via the play-offs - two traditional clubs who like us have a rich history but missed out on the Premiership cash cow.

They are both fine kits. God knows what monstrosity Le Coq up Sportif will come up with for ours.

I like the home kit, but the away kit is just dull.
I don't think it was a bad idea posing with old footballs, but it just looks silly with them wearing white boots!

Cartoon badge - ABSOLUTELY SPOT ON found somthing new to moan about pugsley? ;D No - I've slated it from day one. It's mickey mouse, end of story. Rumour has it it was the winning entry in a primary school design a badge competition. The badge should be one of the top two in the picture below, my choice being the top right.

Pugs, I'm genuinely at a loss to understand how you can call the current club crest a cartoon creation but then pick the other contrived one on the top right? That was only 'created' in the late 1970s and is easily my least favourite of the four.

The current badge is terrible, especially with that crappy POTTERS blue bit at the bottom.
