Sandie is retiring at the end of Stoke City's Premier season. After twelve years of being the first voice to greet the football community with her famous " Good morning Stoke City" she is hanging up her phone. A lifelong City supporter got her dream job when her club moved to the new Britannia Stadium. A much loved lady will be greatly missed by all associated to the club staff, players and fans. she has always gone the extra mile to be helpful whatever problems and complaints have been thrown at her. Sandie has seen many changes in her time at Stoke. Many managers, players and divisions. this season 2008/09 like all the clubs supporters she has lived the Premier League Dream, but she has now decided to step down from her full-time occupation. Please show your appreciation to Sandie "the mother to the stars" and post your regards for her to read. Also started a facebook group for her (link below) www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=79222382939#/group.php?gid=79222382939

Have met her a couple of times, and always think of her quote on the promotion dvd (2002) when asked if she had butterfies in her stomach through nerves at the prospect of Stoke being promoted? and she replied "more like eagles, I think!!"
Lovely polite lady, hope that Stoke give her a good send off.
