Now that Reading are staying down...what do you reckon to a double swoop? I would love to have these two in the squad. £5-7m for the pair I reckon.

Would you have Doyle in front of Ric or Beatts? I wouldn't Hunt is a good player but not significantly better than Ethers so another No

If they are that good, why haven't Reading been promoted? Because they keep passing to that miserable ginger tosser. You can guess the rest. How many goals?

Everton have been sniffing round Hunt for a while now and Reading slapped a £6m price tag on him alone, Doyle would be a similar price too so I think for the pair you would be talking about £12-13m realisitically

I think Hunt has been injured recently and probably shouldn't have played tonight really. He's a different kind of player than ethers...he's all action and works ard like cresser but with more skill and creativity...think he's class...plus Cech is shit scared of him !! Might give us a advantage against Chelsea next season Doyle is a proven goalscorer and personally would have him in team ahead of ric...just because I think he would be an incredible impact sub...just my opinion.

Doyle has a worse record than Kitson in the Premier League and I think Ethers is better than Hunt.

Well an anagram of "Stephen Hunt and Kevin Doyle" comes out as:
Stoke Hyphen Untanned Devil
Maybe that points to a swap deal as the untanned devil could be Kitson so effectively the anagram is:
Stoke - Dave Kitson
God I'm bored.

Got to be worth a shout, with Coppell going as well they may feel the need to move. Offer them Kitson and Sonko back and surely its a done deal!?

I think he'd be a quality signing, but I guess that we'd have showed an interest a while back if Pulis wanted him.

I was just about to come on here and suggest the same thing. Both would be great signings but we'll have to fend off lots of competition incl. Villa who would probably be boths preferred destination. Doyle is a worker and would certainly give Ricardo a thing or two to think about and I love Hunts energy and enthusiasm. I know most would prefer Doyle as he has proven quality at this level and because we have Ethers but I like Hunt and think he would really suit the way we play; I'm sure Pulis is already a fan of both who have huge work-rate. Would be two great signings!

simply not good enough, if they cant beat burnley then they must be pretty poor, we have moved on from the reading rejects, bad medicine the pair of them niether of them played mate. Doyle has been out recently with injury and Hunt was a second half sub (mistake in my book). Plus for the bloke further down; for the record Doyle scored way more than Kitson in 2 prem seasons for Reading, despite playing most time out wide. His goal tally for Reading this season and performances for the Republic should speak volumes.

would have doyle, especially if cresswell, camara, pericard and kitson are on the way out. there are goals in him. never really rated hunt for some reason, he seems to be a player who has a great spell but will then go missing for a while.
