I don't believe any one particular moment or game defines a whole season but I do believe the Man City game was massive.
Any thoughts.

Man City for me as well. The way we won that game gave everyone a massive lift and thats when the crowd really came into their own!

Villa away.
I was fortunate enough that it was on the box over here. That last five minutes or so, I could barely believe what I was seeing ;D

No contest, Man City - to beat the richest team in the WORLD with ten men was quite a defining moment in our season I'd say.

Blackburn at the Brit was pretty huge, we simply had to win to try and pull away, 3 points and we were gonna almost be there.
Liam Lawrence....True legend!.

i think beating man city at home and west brom away were BIG pivotal moments and turning points, but the home win v BORO kick started our 4 game unbeaten run to give us 10 points from 12 with wins v boro, brazil & blackburn & a draw with castle to propel us up to 12th in the league & virtualy confirm safety.

I'm still going to say Wet Sham away, we saw ourselves in the scariest possible mirror and I honestly believe that's what set us on the path to survival, that day we looked doomed and we knew it.

I remember turning to my mate on the final whistle against Man City and saying there's no way that team is going down.... So that's the game for me ! The game when I think we all KNEW we were staying up was Brazil away My favourite moment of the Season was Whelan's equaliser at Villa

That Citeh game was the pivitol moment i think, but the win against Middlesborogh was vital i think, if we'd lost that then we'd still be in the shit.

Villa away - only Everton away (and the Arse if we were still in trouble) were the only tricky games after this, and it was on the back of a dodgy period of fixturestoo, so to come backand get that point was marvellous and boosted confidence to no end

Brazil away sealed safety and told us we had arrived in the Prem as a stable club.
In a strange way West Ham away was a turning point. Our performances afterwards were better than those that came before.

For me it was Bolton at home. Not only the contrast with the away fixture but it was our first complete performance. Clean sheet, (never looked like conceding), our first win by 2 goals and the first time we looked like a proper Premier league team. I knew we would stay up after this game.

I was worried after the ManU game away, loosing 5-0. Winning the next game was crucial and showed we could bounce back from the defeats that would come our way. So West Brom at home was when I started talking about us making it to season 2.
