Be a good signing at the right price methinks. About 6 mill perhaps?

He's gone right off the boil recently though, only three goals in his last twenty or something like than. I'd still take him though, but with Ricci and Beattie, would it really be worth that sort of expenditure for someone who won't start that often?

Would you really go back to Reading after the lst 2 piles of shit they sold us?! It's like buying 2 sodding Adam Sandler DVD's from HMV (One which you tried to return) and then wondering about purchasing 50 First Dates

Doyle? He hasn't scored in an age and Kitson was better than him in the Premier League. No thanks!

Thing is 50 first dates could get you some pussy in the immediate future, so really what you need to be thinking is whether or not we should buy Space Balls special edition.
Get me

Gonig back to Reading to buy another Championship quality footballer would be much more like "Punch-Drunk Love".

James Harper would be the right guy from Reading in my opinion.
I always thought he was a really good player, but having reached the Premier League, I haven't paid too much attention to the lower leagues this year! ;D
Harper hasn't caught my eye as much as he once did...Has he been injured?
Stephen Hunt is a decent player as well, and one TP would like I suspect.

Just think Doyle is quality, and would work well with someone like Fuller.

Doyle? He hasn't scored in an age and Kitson was better than him in the Premier League. No thanks! That might be due to the fact hes been out for 10 weeks with a knee injury Hes good, but we can certainly do better for tht sort of money.

There's no way Stoke would pay 6 million(or more) for a player who won't play every week.
We need to build on weakness', not strengths - Up front and Left mid isn't much of a concern having seen Stoke in the last 2 to 3 months. Although, we'd obviously need a 2-3 million man who can nick a goal or two off the bench, but anything more than that would be crazy!
Now Harper, now we're talking, him alongside Whelan = SORTED.

we've already got better players than doyle
and we've been stung by reading too many times already-those players like hunt, doyle kitson etc...very overrated
doyle hasn't got the pace for this level, and having seen a couple of reading games lately, neither has Hunt
