It would be Hargreaves for me. Never loses his nerve and radiates hardwork & passion.

Ferdinand is crap and accident prone. Yes of course he is mate. Coming from a bloke who thinks Sidibe is a good player we can safely say you don't know what you are on about. Well ok, that was a touch exaggerated. Ferdinand is definitely over-rated though.

I agree. While our press and manager alike were fawning over Lampard and Gerrard, they should have been looking at the likes of Barry and Nolan at the more unfashionable clubs. Mind you, a few years back there was a bit of a kerfuffle about Michael Ricketts and look at him now.

I also forgot to add that your call for Scholes was a good one. I thought he might be tempted to come back because when he retired he cited something about the contemporary setup that he was unhappy about, didn't he?

Gerrard might not be perfect but he's 100 times better than big time Charlie Terry.
I really dislike him.

Hargreaves by the way he plays but does he have the right personality? Being captain means yuou have to be prepared to shout and encourage and cajole people when you know you aren't playing well. Many players lack the arrogance to do that.
