New Date For Preston Game Posted on: Tue 05 Feb 2008 City's Coca-Cola Championship game with Preston North End has now been rearranged for Tuesday 26th February 2008 (Kick Off 7.45pm).
The trip to Deepdale, originally scheduled for Saturday 16th February, was postponed due to Preston's involvement in the FA Cup Fourth Round and the new date is subject to the Lilywhites being involved in a replay.

Thats stupid. If there is a replay it'll have to be postponed again. Why not just make it the Tuesday 19th? Silly.

no problem
i agree joe that they might as well have had it on 19th but from my point of view i prefer 26th as i can go on that night but not on the 19th.
there is the slight possibility they wanted 26th as we might sign a player or 2 on loan on the 23rd so they can be avaliable for the play-off final

Two games per week for five weeks between this Saturday and 15th March. We're going to need the squad then - Get them Loanees in Tone!

Maybe it will be time to break that long standing record, to do with Preston and not losing on a Tuesday night!

Why don't they move the Scunthorpe game to saturday 16th, as both of us are out of the FA Cup? or have Scunthorpe already moved one of their matches.

Why don't they move the Scunthorpe game to saturday 16th, as both of us are out of the FA Cup? or have Scunthorpe already moved one of their matches. from the sentinel 4pm update Stoke are also trying to bring forward the home game with Scunthorpe - currently scheduled for Tuesday March 4 - but cannot play it on that free diary date on Saturday week because Port Vale are entertaining Swansea that day.
