the ever growing gap in quality was reflected in the transfer dealings in the window i can only think of Reid as an example of a championship player who was signed by a premiership club.
you would have thought the best performing championship players would be snapped up by wealthy premiership teams in the window, but the championship players obviously can't compare to the foreign talent available.

Keane's only interested in you if you're Irish, have played for Man U or have some link with Trinidad.
Mind you, when you see the prices for top Championship players (Jones, Chopra, Nugent etc), you can see why the Premiership teams look to cheaper markets abroad.

But yes, year on year as that money pours in, the gap just gets bigger.
I also think that if you look back - a lot / possibly all (?) of the CCC talent of late has been snapped up anyway.
(Except Riccy, Shacross, Gally, Lawrence & Whelan of course. But shhh...)
