Apparently a woman was assaulted by two Stoke fans on one of the trains coming back from the game on Saturday. It was on the 7:20 train from Euston the train was then stopped and the culprits locked themselves in the toilets. This apparently went on for twenty minutes until they came out.Unbelievable.When I was at the station later on a guardsman was headbutted for not letting a group of lads on the train because they lost their tickets. Some specimens at the station around eightish were an absolute disgrace to the city ..Some of them were funny but quite a few were totally smashed. On my train to Manchester there was also a fight between some Bury fans and Stoke fans. The Stokies chucked a can it hit a woman and you can guess the rest.

As I've said before, if they want to fight so much, there are several thousand decent people fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq. They could go and join them.
Ah, I forgot, the locals there are able to fight back.

The 20.20 train from Euston was held up at Milton Keynes for 30 mins as they had to wait for the Bobbies to turn up and deal with 'unruly passengers'. Anyone know what this was about?

not as digraceful as the so-called fans who found it in their minds to boo one of our own players, in what is one of the greatest seasons of all time.
Now thats what I call a moron!

Id say hitting a woman would be classed worse than "booing" a clown? If you don't then i would question your morales.

yeah I know. Someone made a comment about morons discrediting our club, I think that the booing of Cresswell had discredited us massively today in the eyes of football public. I know a lot has been said on this today any way so i am not going to harp on. However, I have seen damn site worse players in a Stoke shirt and never get booed. I know people pay their money and have their right to voice there view, but booing helps no one.
I think it is worse because here is a player who helped us get where we are this season with his goals last season. The facts are he is a a squad player who will work "ard" and at the moment we are a bit light on options. I for one didnt think he would be part of the team this year, and whilst his ability is limited to say the least he does make the effort.
I for one will not be booing any players that have contributed to this season no matter how good or bad or hitting any women folk!

B Y D - I know what you're saying now your tongue's out of your cheek Every time Cresswell takes to the field I have this feeling of impending doom, but I'd never boo him. He's committed to the cause but is unfortunately incredibly limited at this level.

thats if the story is even true though boys, i was on the said train and saw and heard NOTHING. i know trains are big but you would still expect word to travel or to have a sniff of what went on. The story IS true the 19.20 train from Euston WAS held up at Milton Keynes and the woman was booted and punched. My son was on the train and personally spoke to the virgin steward on the train ..

However, he is picked and never gives less than 100%. I would NEVER boo him, I would never boo ANY Stoke player, no matter how poorly they play.

Excuse the caps lock and swearing but FOR LAST FUCKING TIME HE WAS IRONICALLY CHEERED NOT FUCKING BOOED!
Massive difference imo and the cheers were probably more aimed at TP than Cressy.

cowardly wankers, if true, we go on about the Newcastle fans assaulting a woman before the cup game some years back, and us looking for revenge, and getting plenty, but if this is true then I am truelly ashamed. The thing is back in the day if any Stoke fan did anything like this, he would get the shit kicked out of him by Stoke, and I hope, if true they name and shame the cunt so he/they get whats coming.

Amazing, loads of comments about bloke beating up a woman and nobody seems to know what went on!
I was on that last train and yes it was reported that the ticket collecting woman had been assaulted but with a load of drunken stokies giving her stick she could have been making it up?
old bill took AGES to come and deal with it so they are lucky a riot didnt take place
If they had not put an alcohol ban on the train (couldnt even buy water) people perhaps would not have been so agressive

I'm disgusted by some of my fellow Stokies sometimes. Wonder if the club will be big enough to issue a public statement condemning this and ban the fans concerned?

If thats what happened there's absolutely no comparison between an assault and booing Cresswell. How has Cresswell got involved in this?

I was on the train with Edwardhitler, the story is definitely true.
The two lads involved got arrested. However, in the process a few other innocent Stokies were taken off the train by the police but let back on once the woman had identified the correct people.

Personally I cant see why people would need to spoil a very decent day out (despite the result) by getting involved in this kind of disgraceful behavior.
Four of us went down had loads to drink throughout the day and had a great time. No need for anything else
