before I get any wise cracks. I live and work in Macclesfield but born and bred in Stoke. I quite often see Stoke scarves in cars and wonder who these Stokies are.

I work in macc pal you could have seen me driven through most days, with my faded stoke badge in back of car went past the bookies on London Road last week noticed someone had written on the dirty windows stoke city staying in the prem was that you.

To be honest, there seem to be so many Stokies everywhere, you'd probably get a few answers if you posted "Any Mars based Stokies out there?"!!!

I worked in Macc for 6 mths back in 2005. Nice place but most seemed to be Citeh fans

I lived in Macc until about a year ago. My son still goes to school there and is just loved it when we beat Citeh as most of his school mates are Citeh fans.
He's had a season ticket at Stoke since he was 6 (he's 13 now) and loves to be able to wind up the Shit fans at his school by asking them how many matches they go to.
Our connection with Stoke is through my partner who's a Stokie born and bred and took us both to our first football match at Stoke when Peter Hoekstra was playing. My son and I both loved it and have been Stoke fans ever since.
