Good stuff. Liked this line 'You can count me out for any excitement on the last day,’ said Lawrence. ‘We don’t want to be going to Arsenal needing to win or draw - Arsene Wenger hates us.’ ;D

Fuller scored the first goal on the opening day. Good little read though, especially the Arsene Wenger quote

Fuller scored the first goal on the opening day. Good little read though, especially the Arsene Wenger quote Stoke led twice, first through a 30th-minute Liam Lawrence penalty moments after Gabriel Agbonlahor's penalty appeal was turned down, and again after a piece of brilliance for Ricardo Fuller with his back to the Villa goal.

Stoke led twice, first through a 30th-minute Liam Lawrence penalty moments after Gabriel Agbonlahor's penalty appeal was turned down, and again after a piece of brilliance for Ricardo Fuller with his back to the Villa goal. Fuller scored at Bolton on the opening day, salop. And Stoke led 3 times, not twice, in the Villa game.
