now I'm starting to really hate it
Man U , putting out a second string side which probably on the day was a bit better than Evertons first team
Glad they're out but to be honest I aint bothered much either way
The semis being at Wembley , so boring, unbelievably boring, more boring than Formula 1
ok , dismissing last year, the same teams now are winning it
The FA Cup used to be very exciting from the early round to the final but not now
Shame

One thing that got me was that they chose to play the semi-final in London on a sunday evening. How pissed off would you be having to travel all the way back to Manchester (Essex more likely actually) or Liverpool tonight?

Me too.
My priority is for us to retain Premiership status and if that means we go out of the cups early then so be it.

They should have moved that game to Villa park, I know they wouldn't have got anywhere near the same number of fans but it would have been much more sensible for the travelling involved.
One thing that struck me on the commentary was that they said that whichever team goes through they won't get as many seats allocated to them in the final, obviously because of corporate and hospitality tickets. That is sickening true fans are going to be prevented from going to the final to give priority to people who couldn't even be arsed to go to the previous round just because they work for a company sponsoring the cup. I wasn't exactly surprised but it pisses me off every time I hear it mentioned. Just goes to show what money grabbing bastards the FA are and how out of touch with the average fan they are. I suppose they have to re-coup some of the £800 million pounds plus they spent to build the place somehow!?!

The two semi finals should be played a a neutral ground that is ideally situated for both teams who are playing each other.
Only the final should be at Wembley.
Manure should have been chucked out of the competition long ago after they went of to Brazil instead of playing in the FA cup.
WELL DONE EVERTON.

I don't like the fact that the semis are played in London however, that stadium was fooking expensive and I understand why they would want to play 2 extra games there! All the other points here I wholeheartedly agree with, especiall cr4zyd4ve's point about the true fans losing out!

£70 a ticket today too so i believe. that's what terry christian was saying on the radio anyhow £70 would be the top price I think. My mate has been down today and paid £24.50 which isn't bad fair play. You can bet that you'll pay alot more for the final!

banning ManU from the competition would make it much better can't justify it but it would ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/KYqg3pYeaerc5lD_P7BR.gif)

You can bet that you'll pay alot more for the final! that's fair enough. i heard christian when coming back from golf. the way he was talking all tickets were that price "fans wouldn't mind so much if it was £30 / £35 a ticket but £70 is ridiculous"

Even the new Wembley is shit.
How can it be Wembley with a big fucking shadow across the pitch?
Just doesn't look right.

I thought it was stupid that Man Utd and Everton kick off Sunday afternoon and have a 3-4 Hour drive home (Well the Man utd fans which actually dont live in London!) yet Arsenal and Chelsea was on a Saturday, now it makes more sense to me to swap the days th teams played around, at least that way the fans wouldnt have to get in 10ish on a sunday night, ready to go work tomorrow.

I think the fa cup should give you a place in europe. Chapionsleague or uefa would make teams put out there full squad and go for it.

I went today (my firm has got a load of corporate tickets). Took my girlfriend and had some lunch at the stadium beforehand. We were both bored stiff by the football so just played 'spot the plastic fan' - including the 2 chaps wearing pink and mustard chinos respectively, the guy in a ManU shirt wearing Chanel sunnies that must have belonged to his bird, and the guys with very thick suvvern accents. Guess what? They were all cheering for the Shit.
The ManU 'fans' sang about 5 times all game, the Everton fans sounded pretty good when they got going, but I would much rather have watched Stoke Blackburn again, rather than the one today. There were about 2 shots on target all game!
I think the face value of the corporate wanker tickets is about £125 I think. Absolutely fucking criminal. My girlfriend made a great pont - all these corporations leaving the empty seats should hang their heads in shame. Plenty of kids would love to see their team at Wembley - I was lucky enough to see Stoke in 1992 as an 8 year old and it still makes me shiver thinking about Steino lashing the ball in on 65mins, and Vinny O lifting the trophy.

Who cares about united?? If you heard the Everton fans you would realise the FA cup is very much still alive. And to say their weakened team was better than ours is unfair. They had an ace defence out, the da silvas and Vidic and Ferdinand would stop any attack force to be honest. The passionw as only there from one team and one set of supporters and they were wearing blue!

It is something else that the Big 4 have destroyed. Gartside should be looking at ways of introducing more competition into football rather than creating a closed shop.

I still get loads of stick for routinely slagging off this annual non event
me - id stick the under 11 girls out in it
ps Im mentioned above -am I getiting a reputation for my thoughts about the FA and the Fa cup ? ( blushes with pride)
By the way, why not send two north west clubs to a semi final at wembley and try to get them home again - all on a sunday evening
(priceless EVEN by our very own FA's standards)
