If he could, Ferguson would argue that the spot-kicks that Everton converted shouldn't have been penalties. ;D

Put it this way I'm sure he'll be dignified in defeat, considering how he's been bitching about Rafa this week he won't want to be hypocritical. I'm sure he'll give Everton full credit for the win, thank Moyes and the referee for making the game so competitive. He'll also give credit to the Everton fans for their support as well... and pigs might fly.
He'll moan his head off about the penalty decision if his reaction at the time is anything to go by.

David Moyes on United's claim for a penalty when Danny Welbeck tumbled under Phil Jagielka's challenge: "From where I was sitting I thought it was one as well but I've not seen it since - and someone who has told me Phil might just have got some of the ball."
Awsome! That's just going to piss Fergie off even more, I hope Moyes has said that to wind him up, especially with what he said about Riley before the game.

Strange really - he appears to have no respect whatsoever for the competition, yet nearly has a seizure over the penalty claim. Ace really! And what about that Berbatov penalty - my missus could literally have done a better job!

Benitez has far far far more class than the red faced bitter mard arse that some red top readers think is a great manager Rafa is every bit the hypocrite Fergie is. Like Fergie, he moans about referees even though he's benefited from some outrageously dodgy decisions over the years. He moans about transfer funds and throws his toys out of the pram with the owners when he spent £30m on Torres, £10m on Babel, £11m on Kuyt, £7m on Dossena etc. In what way does Benitez have more class? Again, Fergie is clearly a vile human being, but anyone who says he's not a good manager is retarded.

No one can deny Fergusons record but then again hes pretty much been able to sign who he wants where as some of his rivals have been restricted. Fergy has also made some pretty poor signings in his time too. Fortunately for him he has been able to move them on at a loss before causing too much embarrassment. Fergy is the ultimate hypocrite. Who can forget the grey shirts episode or the cruise up the hard shoulder when he had the shits.

Who can forget the grey shirts episode or the cruise up the hard shoulder when he had the shits. All managers make a few bad signings. Fergie is absolutely a hypocrite of the first water. How exactly is Benitez "more of a gent" though? Man Yoo buy big these days, but they're able to do that because of their massive success in the 90s which was founded on an excellent youth set up. That was achieving success while the Blackburns and Newcastles were chucking money at the league.

They've both been behaving like two year olds to one another this season. It's like they are both in the head teachers office saying ''yeah but he said this'' and ''he did that to me''. I guess it comes down to which manager you like more.
I'm surprised that Fergie made the comments as it was a match that he wasn't directly involved in and it seemed that when Benitez opened his mouth the first time it was widely regarded as a mistake. It seems Fergie has made the mistake this time as Benitez has been able just to laugh it off and shrug his shoulders. Today’s result will further back-up the idea that the timing of Fergie's views on the incident; such as it was I didn't see the big deal really; was ill-advised.
I think both managers are excellent and should maybe stick to what they are best at, instead of trying to score little points with each other through the media.
