now he's got a few games under his belt to find that sharpness. Played well and Nice and cool for the finish of his goal. where are the people that said he was not premiership standard?

Another player who once he has had a run & adjusted to Premiership life, looks the part. All those stories of going to Brum, and the dog incident look so far off

Much better in the second half but in the first half something wasn't right. He looked like he was carrying an injury and he was playing poorly.
If he plays like he did in the second half (minus the stupid tackle) until the end of the season, that will be a good omen for a Lawrence with a full pre-season behind him. Good to see him getting back in goalscoring positions, too. He scored plenty of goals from there last season.

I was dead chuffed he scored. He obviously loves us and it rams the words down the throats of those people saying he isn't good enough. No pre season, injury (however caused) and then kicking his heels on the bench led to over the top writing of the player off. The fitter he gets the better, he has played a role in most goals since his return. Top lad Liam, top celebration!

If it wasn't for Abdoulaye (who was a gazillion light years ahead of anybody else on the pitch today) then Lenny would have been my man of the match.

Up until the goal I thought there was a lot of huffing and puffing without any real bite, hopefully this goal will be a massive boost to Lenny as he continues to step up his game.

A bit unfair - a few minutes before the goal he had the best shot of the game tipped over by Robinson. As others have said I think his performances have improved with his fitness since his return to the side. With a good pre-season ahead of him I expect he will play a crucial part in next season. I also thought he combined well with Kelly who looks a much more accomplished attacker than Wilko.

I haven't seen MOTD over here, but I bet his first touch for the goal was mentioned. Any top striker would have been happy with that.

He looked more sharper and looked like he wanted beat is man again. Still i think he isnt half the player he was last year, although yes it was a good finish in all fairness Robbo should of saved it.
