He threw himself several times in the first half, he got what he deserved off Wilko even though i don't like to see tackles like that. After getting cocky in the first half, was nice to see him hit the direct corner straight out ;D. Has anyone else also noticed his 10 man walk? Mr hardman!

He got knocked in the back during a challenge. The commentator said that it would become really stiff during half time, and he was right

Wilko is like dicko, They go into any tackle, I no it was on diouf but like manchester united sometimes it's gonna cost us if he gets sent of. It was careless but he did it last week on a newcastle player which i forgot the name of. But anyway he needs to calm down, he did go for the ball but he really needs to calm it.

Fuckin stupid challenge, If wilko wants to be a Premiership footballer he's got to cut out the stupid bookings. If he had picked up another booking and got sent off we would of been hanging on for a point rather than pushing on for all 3. Wilko's got the ability but has he got the mentality to be a top class footballer

Obviously thinks hes harder than he is. Picks on Wilko then Abdoulaye, luckily for him Dicko wasn't playing or he may have felt the full force from him aswell

WILKO IS A LEGEND!!
Not his best game today, made few errors but the commitment to the cause was once again outstanding, and yes it was rash tackle but he is going to make them with his inexperience. Would you rather see him clatter a cunt or get booked for dissent?
GOOAAAAARN WILKO!

Would you rather see him clatter a cunt or get booked for dissent? That's a very very good point. How many people on here would try and snap diouf or ronaldo in half if given the opportunity? He's only human, and so far he's 'only' cost us one noticeable point!

Diouf knew he was out of his league today when it came to try and bully his way past defenders. Should have seen the sad grin on his face when Abdy shepherded the ball out for a goal kick second half. He tried to bundle Abdy and just bounced off, very funny after that and of course Wilkos tackle first half. Even Rory bundled him into touch pretty robustly. He knew he was getting nowt today.
I suspect Wilkos back will keep him out next week its that bloody pelvic thing I think there was very little contact at all he just pulled up.

I wouldn't go that far yet, give him a few more seasons I disagree mate, in my eyes his passion and commitment have earned him that status, in the same way as Clint Hill's robust style won him many fans. This season we play every game with 11 legends on the pitch. Wilko's excellent challenges have saved us more points than his petulance has cost us IMO, and I think he looked more solid than Kelly did when he came on.

His injury was from a tackle from Pederson that resulted in Pederson's knee in his back.
The tackle on Diouf was stupid. I was hoping he'd cut that side out of his game, he's been very restrained recently. I kind of like that he's letting cheats know that they better be ready to see what it's like to be really hurt, but it could really cost us one day and he needs to cut it out. He was provoked by Diouf diving over him and winning a freekick, I believe.

The lad gets better every game. True, some of his tackles lack the effeminate touch, but they are effective. He is what used to be known as (and admired) 'a spoiler! He has that annoying ability of unsettling the opposition who, after the first tackle spend most of the game looking to find out where he is, every time they get the ball. Not a lot unlike the diminutive Jackie Marsh. Jackie could be a little unsettling. Bill Asprey could also have the same effect. never one to stand on ceremony, Bill.
