The reporter probably didn't have to suffer the inconvenience of actually having to go to the game though!

From The Sun:
Sunderland boss Sbragia revealed his players needed little encouragement to win after comments from Brown in the build-up to the game.
He said: “Motivation-wise it wasn’t a problem because we just put the stuff on the walls what Phil Brown said about Sunderland Football Club.
“I think a manager should just talk about his own club rather than criticising other clubs and what they’ve paid for players.
“I didn’t have to chat with them, I just told them there was some good reading for them in the dressing room.
Mr. Brown is really a popular guy! ;D

'Stoke savour beating Rovers at home in top flight for first time in 44 years'
Ludicrous headline. It's the first time we've played them at home in the top flight for 44 years.
How about 'Blackburn: 44 years and still without a win at Stoke in the top flight.'
