Yeah, hes a very knowledgable bloke, who says it how it is. As an exiled Stokie who has to survive on radio commentary, he is the best reader of the game in my opinion. If he says Stoke will win this after 5 mins, hes usually right, however hes not afraid to point out weaknesses, and avoids incessant arselicking.

He was a great player for us.. a legend.. but i lost a lot of respect for him after his comments on BBC Manchester after we lost to Citeh earlier on in the season, cause that day he came out with the same old shit like most pundits have come out with all season!!!!

He waved to me today as he went off the car park around 2pm. Been my hero for years - could run from box to box ALL game, and he had skill. Balanced view, and I listen to the commentary AT the game!

Class act. Knows the game inside out. Apart from the great result, I would have a probem finding anything positive on the game over all. A couple of quality performances out there, Faye and Lawrence. Beattie ran his legs off, Ethers wasn't at the races. Wilko getting better each game, but in all honesty, not a good game to watch.
Poor ref officiating a game between two teams with a similar plan of play. Never going to be a classic was it, but we won, and that is all that matters. ;D
