I'm not that superstitous but like many football fans I have certain things that are lucky.
For some it might be a lucky top or pair of pants, for me it's my city of stoke crest badge that I always wear on my coat.
Last Saturday I decided that the weather was quite nice and I only needed a light fleece style jacket.
It was not until I was at the match that I realised my 'lucky' badge was on my other coat.
Anyway, I know it's all a load of bollocks but what's your lucky thing if anything?

It's got nothing to do with what I or anyone else is wearing! However, having changed my normal attire one game, I decided I wouldn't take the risk again as we didn't get a good result! So it's vest, t-shirt, cardi irrespective of the weather! Oh, and lucky pants!

I have a lucky hat , I was working till 4 on Saturday and almost forgot it , dashed back to pick it up from my car and with the weather being nice I just stuck it in my pocket , after 33 mins. of Saturdays match I put my hands in my pocket and put my hat on, hey presto within about 30 seconds we score!.

1. Must have oatcakes with bacon & cheese pre match, 2. Salute single magpies on matchday, (but at the moment everytime one is seen, not just matchdays). 3. Say 'There she is fortress Britannia' on first sighting of the Brit.

Three of us had an ice cream before Cov away last season and we won so we tried it against Colchester and we won again.
In the new season we had one against Villa home and away) and Arsenal and won one drawing at Villa we then went hunting for an ice cream van at west brom and had to settle for a Mcflurry but it did the trick!
Last week we met up at the Newcastle game and all had a 99er at least we didn't lose!

I used to have a lucky golf ball, which I had randonly I my pocket one game and we won, so I did it for a while, but then I thought it was stupid. I have worn our home shirt to every game this season, but that's not really a superstition, just a support thing.

found a penny on the way to the Bolton game and held it throughout the game ;D I couldn't find it for the Everton game, but have held it every game since and we've won or drew. I also have a matchday ritual that must be adhered to ;D

badges for me,can't go to a game without my badges, which seems silly considering i have only missed one game so there has been a mixed bag of results also to echo what fcstoke said, one of us says'fortress britannia' when the ground comes into view.

Mine's a lucky jumper. Worn it every match exept for the chelsea and everton games. It didn't work away though, when we lost 3-0 to blackburn. ???

I'm not superstitious but I always wear the same red-hooded Stoke top..take the same chewing-gum to the match..park the car in the same place..and walk the same way exactly to the Brit..any deviation from the above makes me panic, sweat and feel light-headed.. But like I say..I'm not superstitious

I have to drink a cup of coffee out of my Stoke mug before 9am on the morning of the game and 1 after 9am from the same mug. Bizarre i know.
I also have to enter the ground via turnstile 29.

I always use turnstile 21 to enter the ground Sorry, forgot that one - gate 18! There can be a queue at 18, no body at 19/20, so gate 18 must be lucky for a lot of us! Same bay on the car park, wait for the same people to walk the same way up the car park........... Very OCD!

I have a very warm hat, that is also very hideous ( imagine a wolf's hair and ears ) It is however stuff of legend with the lads I go the game with. On cold days I wear it, warmer days it goes in my pocket or bag.
For work reasons I will not be attending the Blackburn game, the hat though will be making an appearance to see us safe.

In the last couple of weeks I finally got the home shirt, but I havent been able to take it out of the wrapper cause I realised that we've been doing well without me wearing one. I reckon if I leave it in till we are mathematically safe, that will be ok.
And I also have had a beard since about early March last year, really want to shave it off, but just can't take the chance

I always use turnstile 21 to enter the ground ..hmm, that's different to what you used to do for good luck on a bingo night ..unless 'entering through turnstile 21' is a euphemism from the Profanisaurus...? J8-)
